How do I license a show?
Request a full-length screener using the form on our home page. After you've watched the show, we'll work out terms directly with you. There's no distributor in between.
Can I watch the whole show before licensing it?
Yes. We send private, full-length screener links, not just trailers, usually within one business day.
What licensing options are available?
We offer traditional licenses, short-term runs and ticket-share arrangements, and work around your season and budget.
Are the licenses exclusive?
No. All of our shows are licensed non-exclusively, directly by Afterglow Studios.
What formats and resolutions are available?
Fulldome masters up to 8K, with A New Blue and The Pretty Cool Space Movie available at 30 or 60 fps, plus flat-screen and giant-screen versions for several titles. Touch the Stars and Space Next are available in 2D and 3D. Shows are delivered in the format your playback system needs.
Which shows were made for the dome, and which for giant screens?
A New Blue and The Pretty Cool Space Movie were made natively for the dome and have flat 2D versions. Touch the Stars and Space Next were made for giant screens in 2D and 3D and have fulldome versions.
Do the shows work for school groups?
Yes. Runtimes range from 22 to 38 minutes, Touch the Stars and Space Next have shorter 26- and 25-minute cuts, and every show comes with a free educator guide.
What if my dome is small or portable?
Tell us your dome size and playback system when you request a screener, and we'll confirm the right version and format for your theater.
